The Owner/Operator of Mercer Home Inspection Service has spent most of his life in the building industry.  He started his own business at the age of 21 in construction, remodeling, redesigning homes & later added professional skills in custom wood cabinets.  His ability to show great workmanship has resulted in many satisfied customers that value his opinions and expertise in construction. 

As a home inspector, he has the ability, skills & knowledge to focus on one of the most important concerns of the Client.  That concern is the over-all condition of the home regarding defects, from the minor to major problems that could be solved or the knowledge that they were there before making a costly mistage.

He sees a need in the Nashville area for qualified home inspectors, and is ready to serve you!

What type of Inspections do you offer? 
Our complete home inspections cover all major components of the home, from the foundation to roof, plus a full-house 400 Point Check List (see   other services listed in this website).  

How much do you charge? 
We base our prices on the square footage of the building (only).  There is no extra charge added because of the age of home, the detached garage or milage to the location.

When do I pay for the inspection? 
The payment for the home inspection should be made at the time of your scheduled inspection. We do not ask for money up front nor a down payment.  

What is a Pre-Inspection Agreement? 
This is a written contract between the home inspection company and the Client, which list the terms & conditions of the inspection.  It is a legal and binding agreement that is required by Errors & Omissions Insurance companies that insure the inspection company.

Is it important that I attend the inspection?
Yes!  We encourage you to attend the inspection.  By being present at the inspection our professional inspector can familiarize you with the home and answer questions you may have during the inspection.
